    Lemon Zest

‘Lemon Zest’ originated in Florida. The tree is vigorous with an upright canopy (Salazar, 2024). The fruit is polyembryonic, the peel is bright yellow with irregular splotches of light green, 361-577 g (Crane, unpublished). The pulp has some non-objectionable fiber, is deep yellow to orange yellow, with a pleasant aroma and sweet, rich citrus flavor of excellent quality. ‘Lemon Zest’ is an early to midseason season cultivar
