‘Kent’ originated in Florida and is a vigorous tree with an upright canopy (Campbell, 1992; Knight et al., 2009). The fruit is monoembryonic, the peel is greenish yellow with a red to crimson blush and numerous small yellow dots, 600-750 g . The pulp has little fiber, is deep yellow to orange yellow, with a pleasant aroma and sweet rich flavor of excellent quality. ‘Kent’ is a late midseason to late season cultivar.
