‘Tommy Atkins’ originated in Florida and is a vigorous tree with a rounded canopy (Campbell, 1973; Campbell, 1992; Knight et al., 2009). The fruit is monoembryonic, the peel is orange-yellow with a crimson to dark red blush, 450-700 g . The pulp has a medium amount of fiber, is lemon to deep yellow, a strong aroma, and mild sweet flavor of fair to good quality. ‘Tommy Atkins’ is a mid-to-late season cultivar.
