‘Saigon’ originated in Vietnam and is a low to moderately vigorous tree with a rounded canopy (Campbell, 1992). The fruit is polyembryonic and the peel is greenish-yellow to bright yellow, rarely a pink blush, 250-350 g . The pulp is pale yellow, fiberless, with a weak pleasant aroma and mild sweet flavor of good to very good flavor. ‘Saigon’ is an early to midseason cultivar.
