‘Pickering’ originated in Florida and is a low vigor tree (Salazar, 2024). The fruit is monoembryonic, the peel is light green to light yellow with a pinkish-red splotchy blush, 193-850 g (Crane, unpublished). The pulp is yellow, low fiber, very sweet with a mild coconut-like flavor of good quality. ‘Pickering’ is a midseason cultivar.
