    Nam Doc Mai

    ‘Nam Doc Mai’ originated in Thailand and is a moderately vigorous tree with an upright canopy (Campbell, 1992; Knight et al., 2009). The fruit is polyembryonic, the peel is greenish to bright yellow with a slight pink blush and numerous small green dots, 340-580 g. The pulp is fiberless, lemon  yellow, with a weak pleasant aroma and rich, spicy and very sweet flavor of excellent quality. ‘Nam Doc Mai’ is an early midseason cultivar.
