‘Hindi Bessenara’ originated in Egypt and is a moderately vigorous tree (Knight et al., 2009; Knight and Sanford, 1998). The fruit is polyembryonic, the peel is light green with an orange overlay, 250-300 g . The pulp has some unobjectionable fiber, is deep yellow to orange, with a pleasant sweet spicy flavor of very good quality. ‘Hindi Besennara’ is an early to midseason cultivar.
