    Edward

    ‘Edward’ originated in Florida and is a vigorous tree with a compact canopy (Campbell, 1992; Sturrock, 1944, 1969). The fruit is monoembryonic, the peel is yellow with a pink or reddish blush with numerous small yellow dots, 450-620 g. The pulp is deep yellow to orange with very little fiber, has a weak aroma but a mild sweet, rich and spicy excellent flavor. ‘Edward’ is a midseason cultivar.
